Pete Mauro is an executive at the Warner Bros. Digital Distribution group developing mobile phone content for film, television and brands. A veteran of the entertainment industry, Pete has 14 years of experience working for both licensed developers and brand owners.

Before joining Warner Bros in 2001, Pete developed interactive entertainment products and web applications for several startup companies such as Cloud 9 Entertainment and Event411.com.  He began his career in film production and financed, produced, and directed “Four Foot Ten”, a documentary about dwarves.

He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.

Our team leverages the studio’s theatrical, TV and branded properties in wireless by publishing mobile content.  My responsibility is to plan content programs, secure rights and clearances and deliver digital assets that can be used to create our products and support our 3rd party promotional partnerships. This can be challenging given mobile content is a relatively new space, and this requires demonstrating to filmmakers, talent, and marketers the benefits of how their key audiences can be reached via mobile phones.
